Sophie Paine graduated in 2019 from Monash University with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice and began work in acute and subacute settings in a major health network in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. In 2023, she decided to take her skills overseas and commenced work in the United Kingdom within the NHS.
Whilst working in the NHS, Sophie made the leap into a community based role, supporting stroke survivors to transition home (from hospital) and work towards the goal of living their best lives possible!
Sophie has a particular interest in neurological rehabilitation, as well as experience with assistive technology prescription, simple home modifications, community access assessments and thoroughly enjoys supporting people with accessing or returning to meaningful activities.
Sophie brings a wealth of experience supporting clients with physical, neurological and psychosocial disabilities and works hard to deliver a client-centred approach.
She understands the importance of working together as a team, combining the lived experience of NDIS participants with the professional expertise of skilled therapists.
